Ok, now, lets talk collateral damage. I'm well aware it happens. In fact, somewhere on this site there is a discussion where I pretty much rant at people who don't accept that collateral damage and casualties are an inevitable effect of war. I've accepted collateral damage. But killing 90 civilians including up to 60 children in an attempt to kill 30 militants is not collateral damage...its a GIGANTIC FUCKUP! And it's only made worse by our getting caught flatfooted by the accusations because no one bothered to actually check what we hit after the strike. If someone had, you can be damned sure that the US would have refuted the accusations, instead of only just now beginning an investigation to look into them.

Hrmmm. It's always nice to get a calm, rational, and polite response like yours. You can believe what you read from your sources, while I will believe what I read from mine (none of which you came close to guessing...sigh). Perhaps next time, instead of simply flinging baseless insults around, you could post an actual counter-argument and a link/s to news articles/reports that dispute What the UN is reporting.

Obviously amf85, your an idiot! Let me guess, You get your brain dead rhetoric from the morons of Communist News Network, PMSMBC, or how about the NY Times. The Taliban propogandizes everytime they get there as*#s kicked. We have reporters on the ground that see no civilian casualties, except a couple of ambulatory injuries, because the spineless, extreme muslin inbreeds hide in the villages of civilians. Guess what, Einstein? There is collateral damage. Try educating yourself by talking, daily, to troops that are there, like I do. Watching video of direct action, like I do. Start now, be the first to transform and the rest of your gutless, weak, and cowardly liberals will begin falling like dominos.

And once again it is US official reports versus...reality. I can picture the commanders now: Subordinate (80 miles from target site): "Target destroyed! Shall we investigate to see what we hit?" Commander: "Nah. What was it supposed to be...20 or so militants? Sounds good to me...but say it was 30."
