One of Palin's tactics is to appear "cute" when being asked tough questions, in order to make it harder for the questioner to press her for answers without making her look like a victim.

Why has Palin been winking at her audiences? Does she have a twitch or just an itch to flirt?

I feel that the republican party is has a great sence of moral standards, however, when it comes to being true to their beliefs there are a lot of contridiction. Why get some one that is under qualified to be a vice-president when you constantly criticize Obama for being under qualified to be president. I agree that Palin is totally clueless as to how to be a vice president yet alone run a country. Palin is a mother...,so, Iam too, AND!!!! Obama can bring a lot to the table, this country is on the path to change, He is at the forefront to that change. CLEAN HOUSE Obama!!!!!!!!!!

Palins problem is she is coming into this with a lot of dirty laundry that if the show was on the other foot , there would be a complete outrage on the right. From Troppergate to using personal emails for state business, this can't be the type of person we need since we put up with these dirty tricks with the Bush administration.

Well everyone, we will soon see because we only have 39 days left! From the most current news, the debate is on tonight so, this will be another forum for us to judge the best candidate.

Yeah...I'm gonna have to disagree with that one deralaand. Palin is getting a lot of scrutiny right now because she is a complete unknown that was sprung on the country in a surprise move. McCain and Obama each have been under intense scrutiny for a while.

...and whats with the reporting anyway?
Obama can do no wrong but McCain and Palin are under close scrutiny all the time.
Fake headline examples: Palin sneezes too loudly--breaks noise ordinance...FBI to investigate.
Obama sneezes too loudly--tissue sold on eBay for $millions...people rejoice.

People don't know Sarah Palin as well as the people who have been in Washington, D.C. What do people say when a man can't make it as a VP? Lot of people didn't care for President Carter's pick for VP.
ScoobyDoo, you asked if it were disention or jealousy. If you really look at it, it's both. A lot of women are coming out against her with hatred. Others are jealous, I believe because of her fast rise in government. Be a mother and an executive! Don't we have women in other positions in companies that do the same thing? People are so afraid that McCain will die while in office, Who's to say that he won't be alive for another 20 years!

People only care when something bad happens. If she does a good job no one will call the nay-sayers on what they said before. But if they support her and she flops, they will get crucified.

But will they admit it if they are wrong?

I don't think many politicians have any choice. If nothing else, this covers their ass if Palin ends up being VP and can't handle it. At least this way they can say "told ya so."

Accountability for his party. Maybe some jealousy, too!

Discention or jealousy?
