| Description: | Will Smith plays (as far as his character knows) the last man on earth, our hero, Robert Neville, a sole survivor of a world dominating virus created by man, that initially takes out 588 million people in 2009, and was originally created to somehow cure cancer. In 2012, Neville (a former scientist) dedicates his life to surviving for the sake of the human race, since he's somehow immune to the virus and those who have been infected, and attempts to find a cure. In order to find a cure, he seeks out the infected beings at night, who seem to have completely forgotten how to act human, their instincts and survival skills have become non-existent, and either takes them out to survive, or in some cases, drags them to his underground lab for research purposes, in hopes of correcting humankind's mistake. Written by Zack H. Robert Neville is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague -- The Infected -- lurk in the shadows... watching Neville's every move... waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind's last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered... and quickly running out of time. |

I think the title of the movie really goes beyond the movie itself. Will Smith is one of the most talented and legendary actors of all time and his performance in I Am Legend is outstanding. The movie was great. It kind of had a nostalgic feeling as though I was watching Cast Away. Nevertheless, it is an awesome movie. I recommend everyone go see it because it's worth your time.
Technically speaking, some things didn't exactly add up given the circumstances, but nothing worth mentioning. Go see it. Now.

The movie has way to much build-up and not enough action. The acting was good, but the ending was very weak.

Will smith is always a great actor and was great thay picked him to play this part. Story line and plot was great. A little bit done over and over by now but kept fresh and a new prospective. Only bad part was the mutants in it they looked to cartoonie while CG is nice to have it is not always needed. Sometimes doing it old school with a costume makeup and special effects makes the realism better.

The movie is obviously very entertaining, but the special effects and make-up could have been done better. When comparing the film, "28 Days Later", this particular movie was much better when compared to, "I Am Legend".

will!, this was very great, exciting movie with suspense, definitly it will touch ur heart at the end of this movie..will smith do a great job in this movie,he is a great actor and singer the best!, actually i like this because it also touch ur heart though the scene how he show his kindness, better to lose himself than the other for the freedom and to find the cure and save others, he knows how to value life,friends and family...i owe this:) CONGRATS ur totally GREAT!
