I'm hesitant to write this, as I'm not terribly proud of the experience behind it, but I'll throw this out to try and save a few of you guys out there.

I gave it a one. Yes, a one. I did this despite the fact that it is an amazingly well made product that I played for about three straight years. Why?

Because its evil. No, I'm not joking. I played it an insane amount (think 50-75+ hours per week). It wasn't until I had beaten all existing content (Illidan...pansy) that I finally stopped...and only after I had stopped playing did I realize how much of my life WoW had replaced...friends, sleep, any semblance of a social life, grades...I paid hundreds of dollars for this experience, and the only thing I really got out of it was that its cheaper than drinking.

I'm very lucky that I'm a smart person, I made good and loyal friends early on, and I can operate on about 4 hours sleep per night, which meant I could still do a few social activities...but even then, I deeply regret getting involved with the game, and am much happier now.

End of story...don't get started playing this game. It's not really possible to fully explain to someone who HASN'T lost their way and given in to the evil that is WoW...but take my word for it...you're better off not understanding.
