Posted 9 months ago What should be said in an academic letter of recommendation for the US. Dept. of Health and Human Services? Specifically, is there a difference between a letter intended for a government post vs. a civilian or academic post? Any help is appreciated. Thank you |

| Posted 9 months ago If you are applying for Health and Human Services, I would have a science professor write it and probably a statistics or econ teacher. It will be good to show that you are strong in these areas. |

| Posted about 1 month ago It is very important to stay in touch with the person(s) you want letters of recommendation from and keep them informed as to your work status, school status, or otherwise. I have always been a firm believer that your work performance speaks for itself and determines your ability to receive a great recommendation letter. If you change your career and you are after a recommendation, it would just enhance the person you are and the value you provide in your career change. We are only as good as we allow ourselves to be.
