Universal 401ks?

Posted about 1 year ago Hilary clinton is proposing a Universal 401k plan out on the campaign trail? It seems like so many universal programs are being proposed lately. Is this growth of government the right answer? |

| Posted about 1 year ago Properly funded health care is #1. What kind of smoke screen is this Universal 401k? You work and invest in a 401k. You don't work - no 401k - don't worry about it. Hillary is showing herself to be scum like the rest of them. |

| Posted about 1 year ago More details - Apparently, Hillary's plan would make $1,000 available for each citizen. The plan would cost $20 to $25 bln to implement, and would be paid for by taxing estates worth more than $7 mln. Would this work or is it just political posturing? |

| Posted about 1 year ago As a 401k investment - the stock market, brokers, entepenuers and politicos get the grand back. If I got a check for a thou, I'd put half of it in the 401k and stimulate the economy in other ways with the other half. If one were "irresponsible" with it, a good percentage still goes back to the Funders. The junkies and crackheads might just OD, but I'm sure even they would kick a little back. Doesn'tt seem so "communistic" an idea. Remember when the Govt gave everybody 300 bucks? How did that work out? |
