Posted 3 months ago This thread is for anyone who has had success in obtaining a government job. There are many of us who are trying to get a government job, and few of us(it seems) that actually have government jobs (at least on this site).
If those of you with government jobs would be so kind as to tell us how you got your government jobs, it may spark ideas for the rest of us, or just give us non-government-job-holders hope.

| Posted about 1 month ago Hey there, I've been searching and trying to get my foot in the door but maybe I'm going about it all wrong. Does anyone know of any places to go for assistance in obtaining a government position in Philadelphia, Pa or even just somewhere in PA?????? Currently on unemployment been searching like a mad woman for a decent position with no success. I'm frustrated, I feel like a failure and I'm depressed and desparately want to get out this rut. HHEEELLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!! Sorry for venting. Melissa

| Posted about 1 month ago I'm in the same boat as Melissa. I am qualified for the majority of jobs i've applied for and i am eligible for starting 2 paygrades higher because of my degrees and my grades. I just can't get an interview. |
